I feel that Anntoinette's blog on is sex a bad thing, can be argued both ways. I think that it obviously dependz on the type of person. Without a doubt there are girls, who sleep around and don't even remember the name of the person they slept with. Then there's guys who would never just sleep with any random girl, and have to feel a certain way towards a girl before sleeping with her. On the other hand you get the guys who feel as long as the girl consents it's fine, as anntoinnette comented, and the girls who want their first time to be special with the one they love! It's an interesting thought! Why not take the Lurveee Test, and check out this Heart image, I thought it was creative!!

I would just like to put you all off McDonalds as I haven't eaten it for months and was told a story by my friend who has just left working their after seein what she saw! With all the excitement that went on with England winning the rugby, the McDonald's staff decided to have their own little winning strike with the burgers, who could do the most kick ups with the chicken burgers and flip them into the baps at the same time was the winner! Interesting isn't it! Oh yeah, they use chicken fat to make the milkshakes thicker aswel!ewww! Just to keep that thought fresh in ur mind check out this McDonalds & footy image If you're not put off by this, then visit the Official McDonalds Website Whatever takes your fancy!
I was very upset to hear today my friend found a kitten in a black bag by a canal last week, crying for help. I just think to do something like that is so cruel and heartless. I mean kittens r so sweet and playful, why would you wanna do such a think like that. I wouldn't say I'm an animal lover, I just think kittens are so adorable, and I'd neva consider harmin any animal at all, I can jus about bring myself 2 kill a fly!!look at this Cutie kitty image and check out this website on Animal Cruelty
I would say I share the same thoughts with Zack on the topic of abortion. I too believe that we as humans, do not have the right to simply destroy lives rather than use protection. I've heard of girls using abortion as a form of contraception as they feel the baby isn't fully developed into even a foetus at the early stages. however, I still feel that is so cruel to continuously prevent a baby from developing. What happens when you are finally ready to have a baby, the risk of a disabled child or miscarriage is increased, as the womb has been through so much. I fully reccomend you take a look at these Abortion Stories from young women who have had or wanted an abortion!
I would agree entirely with Shafiq's opinion on religion. Although he couldn't relate to christianity, as he commented, we're living in a society which is surrounded by many different cultures and beliefs. I myself find it interesting learning a different way of life, and no way would I walk out of a lecture if a prayer was being said in muslim, I would be quite intrigued to know more on the subject
In response to Petrina's blog what a fool Barry is indeed, I do actually find it quite amusing myself. Janine has got to be the Bitch of all Bitches in soap! I just hope it turns out that Barry didn't change his will and she gets nothin, HA, that will teach her! Want more info on what will happen nxt...check out the official Eastenders Website

In response to Karen's Blog on being thankful for what we have today, really makes me think a lot. A freind of one of my friends died a couple of weeks ago, 15 years of age, was born with a heart defect, and was waiting for a heart transplant, but couldn't hold on just that little bit more. He was his parents only son. So when we fall out with our boyfriend or girlfriend and we think our whole life is coming to an end, be thankful that we still have our health and our family and friends around us. We musn't take things or people for granted because who knows what life will bring around the corner.
Well first day back at uni, and I have some interesting stories to tell! Why does it seem so easy to get hold of a weapon and carry it around with you these days? I was on the bus with my friend and two boys jumped on with scarves tied around their faces, just showing the top of their heads and their eyes. They sat behind a man and a lady, which I presumed was his wife. One of the boys then asked the man for his phone whilst the otha one held a knife. The very sad thing was these boys looked no older than 15, but everyone stood back and watched, which seems to be the safest rather than best thing to do these days. The boys jumped off the bus with the mans phone, probably to find the next poor victim. Weapons are becoming to easy to get hold of and the youths of today recognise this as shown in this article on Youths and Violence

Uh oh, I did a very bad thing this christmas, after being diagnosed with a jaw infection caused by a wisdom tooth stuck on a nerve in my jaw (very painful), I was told by the doctor to stay off alcohol as I was given some antibiotics, come on how real is that to stay off alcohol over the christmas period! The bottle of baileys was jus staring at me, calling out my name, so I poured myself a glass or maybe 3! Next morning I was throwing up all over the place and got a good telling off from the doc when I visited the surgery again! Well this doctor was on my side...It's not always necessary to stop drinkin alcohol altogether, depending on which drug you're prescribed 2, turns out it was nothin 2 do with the alcohol, I was illergic to the antibiotics!check it out...Dr Stephen Kerr's report

Tattoo's and Body Piercing... Bloody hell, and I thought my first ear piercing was painful!saw some scary things during the lesson, I mean getting your genitals pierced *shivers at the thought of it* I guess for quite a lot of people this is seen as definately something different to do, whateva takes your fancy! The traditional facial tattoo's were actually quite interesting to look at and I feel tattoo'in is a very artistic form and would consider having one done, obviously not as big as some of the ones witnessed during the lecture.

Lies with integrity-17/12/03
So what do we all think about the old porky pies?!Personally I think that to a certain extent lying can be seen as a way of being more confident in your ability to tell a lie. Telling a white lie can be seen as harmless and innocent, but telling a lie which has to be continuously backed up with other lies is in my opinion "being bad" in a clever sort of way, that is if you don't get caught. It's a way of getting the brain to work.
Check out a very interesting article of "The Power of Integrity"

03/12/03-Bad Cinema
The focus of today's seminar was "bad cinema" in which we viewed a film called "kids". I felt that the film dealt with very strong issues such as drugs, voilence, sex and its consequences, and portrayed them in quite strong ways. Although the kids in the film were supposed to be much younger than ourselves (under the age of 18), I feel that kids that actual age wouldn't be able to watch the film and cope with what they were seeing. An interesting film, but in the end it all seemed pointless as "Telly" had no idea he was carrying a disease, I understand that was the whole meaning which was trying to be conveyed, but, I jus felt personally it hadn't finished when it did, maybe there's a "kids 2" who knows!

Topic-smoking
I myself as an individual do not smoke, and in any form or context never have done. I find it absolutely disgusting to see women smoking more than I do men. It was said in the discussion that women can smoke in a "sexy way" to turn men on, I find this quite amusing, as I dont think it's the smoke that turns them on, maybe it's the fact these females have no clothes on or are positioned in a way to emphasise certain body parts, normally being the chest area (as seen in a video clip). I am not often surounded by smokers, so when I am, I find it afects me quite a lot, some of my family members do smoke, and it gets to me just as much as being around a smoker who i don't know in public.

Topic- Masterbation!
What an interesting discussion which was led today! Having truthfully never masturbated, it was very interesting to find out the history of it and the ways in which it takes place. Known as "bashing the bishop" along with other very strange terms, I found that this contrasted the idea that masturbating is a form of pleasure, yet the slang names for it are so violent. I found that the ways in which masturbation was prevented during the 19th century were a little harsh, but I guess they wouldn't have been in the social context. I feel that masturbation for women is a way of exploring their own body and sexuality, making them more aware of who they really are, and being confident with their own body, I feel is perfectly normal.

Week 3- Topic Infidelity
A very interesting discussion was led today on the subject of infidelity and whether as an individual, we thought Cheating on a partner was such a bad thing. I personally felt that once you're in a relationship, you're commiting yourself to be faithful. However, in some cases cheating on your partner could be a test for yourself to prove u are, or in some cases, aren't a faithful person. The question- if flirting can be defined as infidelity, was brought up in to discussion and although certain people would disagree with flirting, I would argue that flirting is simply implying you want things to progress sexually between you and a person. however, not actually acting at all on these thoughts, which in my opinion isn't a bad thing. If flirting does lead to a sexual relationship and you were already in a relationship I think that can definately be said to be infidelity.
